I've been having dreams where I'm hanging out with this dude I met irl for a very short time. We're having good times and the like.
Sucks because I've been fabricating this person into a fantasy friend when I don't know him at all.
My present environment is boring and frustrating. I'm looking for something else.

I love college.
I have a 15 second animation due Monday and it can be anything in any style. I'm so overwhelmed with the possibilities.
Between assignments, I've been working on a 70-page comic based on the Perchten monster I created last year. I scanned some of my favorite pages. Sadly, I dont think it can be reproduced because of the type of paper I made it on.
This guy will stick with me forever <3

Someone has installed a project on the first floor near the Center for Creative Inquiry that contains Jell-O and a dead fish. I received a call from someone in that department expressing concerns about the condition of the project. The Jell-O is leaking on the floor and the fish will eventually smell so the project has to be moved right away. In the future, all projects in any space that is not a designated art space will have to have university approval. The forms for Art on Campus are located on on the third floor of CFA outside of the woman's bathroom. Projects on the first floor of CFA will also have to be approved by the dean's office.

It feels like something's jammed underneath the right side. If I hit it correctly, it works. Semi colons of course are a lot more cooperative.

2D drawing went beyond my expectations. The critique last week went very well >> It was probably intentional that no one felt totally ripped apart since it was our first time. I was so nervous the night before, I had to ask around for comments.
The critique probably went so well because I was already aware of the fact that I didn't understand what makes up a contour line drawing. The instructor said herself that she'd rather see something that comes together visually instead of thin, characterless line drawings. |D;;;;; Lord knows I love weighted lines. In that case I'd like to redo the 18x24" self portraits tonight if I get back to my dorm early enough. For some reason I always end up home on weekends :p

With regard to art, I'm trying to do my own thing - or developing the confidence to do so. I've been taking notes of everything that comes to mind. It really really feels good when I can focus on a project of my own.
God, I never thought I'd be the type of person to have an identity crisis.

Probably the most dangerous thing I've ever done.
I drove with John Desire and bunch of friends to the shadiest neighborhood to wait under a "business sign" where a school bus picked us up and shuttled us to a "TBA" location. 30 minutes after we arrived at the unannounced location (the abandoned Irish Centre where my 6-year-old sister used to learn step-dancing), we heard that Scott Brown was sick with "fatigue" and wasn't even in the country.
We stuck around for some unheard of hardcore and gabber djs, but the power went out. The people still on ecstasy were still stomping around, blowing on their whistles for like 10 minutes...
We left early to hit the closest open eat'n park.
